I just discovered the three places in the game that have the runes that you touch, and then find a stone or whatever and use an item on em and you can do these secret dungeon things. I did the one in the mountain wilderness (haven't gotten to the one in the northern wilderness yet), and I wanna do the one in the trynnie graveyard, but for the life of me I can't find a plain dagger anywhere! I've gone to all the people that sell stuff and no one has a plain dagger. My last resort is trying to find like higardi thief types on arnika road and seeing if they drop them. Anyone know if there's a better place to find one? (I'm all the way to rapax rift right now).

P.S. if anyone feels like being really nice to me they could tell me what Item I'll need for the one in the northern wilderness too ;) but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that one heh.

Not sure were you can find a dagger at the point in the game you are now. Someone else might know.

For the Northern Wilderness, you will need a short staff.

lol I'm having a good ol time killing all the rapax that stand in my way as I wade through the rapax castle and stuff and...lo and behold one of em dropped a plain dagger yay! so I went back to the trynnie graveyard dungeon, only to discover that it's a twist of mazes and teleporters and one way doors and puny monsters and it was utterly boring and annoying, so I teleported out. Learn something every day lol!

Just Wondering, You know that worthless dagger the gadeteer makes (merging 2 plain daggers). Has anyone tried to use that dagger to open up the retro graveyard. A Easter egg on top of a easter egg, that would be cool.

I think is a longsword in the Mountain wilderness, and a short staff in the Northern Wilderness ... but where are the runes in the northern wilderness ... I have yet to notice them (or do I have the wrong spot?).

The Runes are on various trees. (I think all of them are fir trees, but I'm not sure. All of them are the same type of tree, though.) The easiest one to find is on the island with the spell book & other items, guarded by the (Slithering) Slime.
I've done that dungeon once only. Finding those runes is very hard, even if you've got a map that shows you where they are (I had one and nearly gave up).

I found some daggers in the Umpani locker rooms.

Make sure you have lots of knockpicks or knock-knock. I teleported into a room with a 6? 7? pin lock on the only exit, and lockpicking skill didn't advance after 15 minutes of clicking. I had to back up two savegames ...

How do you teleport into a locked room?

Is there a teleporter that leads into a locked room somewhere that I'm not aware of?

(mushroom patch, once activated)

Once you are in, you have to fight (and pick/knock-knock) your way out.
