When yoiu deposit money into the bank, can you get the money back at any bank or do you need to go back to the same bank to get you rmoney out??

I wonder is there any practical reason to deposit money into the bank. I never tried doing it actually. I noticed that the maximum amount of money you seem to be able to carry is 9,999,999 (I'm not sure about this but there doesn't seem to be room for any more digits in the character review screen). So I guess if you are about to go over the limit, you may want to deposit some money.

One reason would be to avoid losing most of your money if you happen to set off the Philosopher's Bane trap on some chest...
