Is there a way to get the Stun Rod besides pickpocketing/killing Z'Ant? If there isn't then I think I'll when I start a new party have a pickpocketer. It seems like the Stun Rod is the best polearm. It has 20% chance to paralyze and 75% chance to drain stamina.

Sadok T'Rang sells them, though it's random whether or not he'll get one in stock. Personally I like it as a midgame weapon but usually switch to the Dread Spear when I can get it.

If your looking for a good polearm weapon try the Zatochi Bo staff or the Spear of Death. While the Spear of Death is a cursed item that drains hit points and stamina, it can be countered by items that give +1 to hit point and stamina recovery. The Ebon Staff that Antone (?) makes will do most characters that can use it good until they can find one of the others.

It is very comparable to the Spear of Death, and it is not cursed.
