When I try to enter a room in the Pagoda Archives in Trynton, combat iniatiates with some Rapax Scouts and some friendly Trynnie Patrolmen. I can defeat the Scouts easily, but when I kill them it says that my faction rating with the Common Rapax has decreased. Is there a way to go into that room without having my faction rating with the Common Rapax decrease? I tried just disabling the Rapax Scouts and letting the Trynton Patrol kill them, but it still made my faction rating go down. Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, you could not go into the room. But, don't worry about, you don't have a very good rating with the Rapax Common anyway.

As nomad said, you can't really do anything to make it worse than it is (when you enter their territory). If you really want to, you can initiate combat form around the corner (with them out of sight) then run in, grab the few items, and continue to run away during the ensuing battle.
