When you first cross the bridge (the one you repair) and enter the Ratkin Tree, the first building you come to (on your right just across the bridge) has a door that says it requires a special item. I have absolutely NO clue what is needed here. I have killed the Breeders - but this door is still a mystery to me. If the answer is to go on with the game an be patient - just say so and I will, but it is frustrating because I see no clue at all to what might be required here.

If this is your first visit, you will need to come back with a specific item you will obtain a little later on.
Talk to the Shaman and he will help you out.
