Well what's your opinion of the worst spell in the game. I think it's flash. What do you guys think?

What is your definition of worst? I use Blinding Flash, mostly in the early part of the game. Sometimes you get 16+ Higardi Hiwaymen at once. It helps to disperse them and fight them in smaller packets. Since I mostly take a Bard with me, I dont remember ever using the Sleep spell from a magic user.

What I mean is spell never worth using because it's so useless.

Some quickly become useless though. I think slow and haste are probably the least used for me. I am surprised more folks don't use the hypnotic lure ... I have always found that to be more effective than any other (aside from pandemonium) effect spell.

I find Hypnotic Lure useless. I do use it when depleating points before resting but otherwise I don't feel it does anything.

I've never cast the spell Hypnotic Lure, but my gadgeteer will use the Lava Lamp regularly when battle starts and nothing is within range of his weapons. At a high level it is great for diverting the attention of many monsters (some that I would never have thought to fall for the "watch the flashing light" trick). If you put it reasonably close by they will walk/fly to the lure and sometimes face it with their backs to you.

My money is on Cure Lesser condition simply because I never take the time to use it.

BTW the lure works on 2-year-olds as well - my son loves to watch the "sun" appear in the middle of the night!
