Hey guys! Do you find many of the spells useless in this game? I thought most attack spells were worthless because they hardly did any damage. What do think is the worst spell in the game? what spell do you think is the best?

I think that most spells "have their moments", that is: I use them at a certain time in the game quite often. Later in the game, spells like "Paralyze" are virtually worthless, because of "Freeze flesh + freeze all" or the monster's resistances / levels are too high (instant death etc.)

Really annoying are spells like "Blinding flash", "Terror" or "Slow", because those lengthen the fights too much. Ever slowed Nessie or chased a blinded Higardi Bandit? Yawn!

Worst Spell? Don't know, probably "Cure lesser Cond.". I haven't used it yet... same goes for "charm".

I personally like "Missile shield" a lot. It's nice to fight against a group of Rapax Archers who desperately try to harm you

There are so many I don't use.

Make Wounds eats up divine points, I need that for heal Wounds.
Itching Skin, Razor Cloak (against Don Barlone, otherwise who cares?) Body Of Stone, Instant Death (rarely works) Chameleon (rarely works) Hypnotic whatever (annoying) Blizzard (one direction, can't shoot around corners like Iceball) Ego Whip (same complaint, AND it doesn't cause insanity).

As for someone not liking Blinding Flash, try this ... Hit the Juggernauts/Highwaymen with Firestorm or Acid Bomb or Toxic Cloud in one round, then Blinding Flash in the next. They run away and continue to take damage. Finish off the remaining ones then wait for them to return half-dead. Don't chase them, use the time to heal, de-poison and slurp down Magic Nectar.
