I'm curious because I'm at Ascension Peak. How tough is the Dark Savant? What level is he and will it be tough to kill him. My party is at level 23 and have faced mostly level 26 encounters.
I also cannot find the Cosmic Circle.

That is about the level (plus or minus a couple) that people take him on.
The CC can be found after placing all three artifacts ... go back to the place you battled the Rapax Prince (et al) and instead of going straight (and on to where you placed the AD), turn right and follow that path.

Savant is level 38 or something.
But he should not be a prob to your party.

If the Dark Savant s level 38 then he would probbaly be hard for my party to kill because they are at level 23.

No, he is not that hard for a level 22 group of 6.
