After I killed Nessie, I found a fish near a rock. The hand icon lights up on it so I tried to grab it. The fish swims away (into what seems to be a solid rock!). Is it just showing you where to go? Anyone know what's up with this fish?

There are some in Bayjin Shallows (up the cliff) but they appear to be decorative. I've never tried grabbing them.
