Hi, I've completed the quest to find Marten's words and idol. When I return to Trynton shaman, I use mystery potion again, he appears, but when I click on him, nothing happens. ???? Does anything else need to be done?

Wrong location. The shaman you want is on the 6th bough. You'll need to place Marten's Idol on the pedestal to gain entrance to where he is. Then you recite Marten's words to him.
