OK, in the rift there is a corridor with a touch of lava leading into another corridor but with a boulder blocking the way...there is absolutely no other way into this corridor because of a door that says a specific item is needed but with absolutely no clue to its identity like an indentation...could some1 plz relieve this sore head i have had for 4 weeks on this problem and give me a hint? i have tried everything in my inventory to no avail including the little wand that looks like a key....yours truly...pissed

This one, if you don't get it right away, is nearly impossible to figure out. In the tunnel, when you first enter, you cause a slight tremor. You need to cause another one ... examine the posts/pillars in the tunnel.
