"Experiance point question"

Posted by WarriorWench on Nov-17-02 at 10:12 AM
I'd just like to know if I'm understanding the distribution of experiance points correctly. As I understand it, your party gets X amount of points for defeating monsters. Those points are then divided equaly between the members of your party who aren't dead (not sure about unconscious). So if you get 1000 points and have one member he/she gets the 1000 points. If you have two in your party they each get 500 and so forth. So by not recruting anyone my base party will gain more points by defeating the same monsters as if I had Vi or RFS with me. Am I close or do I have no clue?
I also wonder if someone dies and I bring them back just before the end of a battle do they get the equal amout of points even though they were dead through most of the battle?

Thanks, Sherrie

Haven't slept yet, why start now?!

yes to the first part of your question, without RPCs you will get more experience per character for a given battle. As long as you resurrect your dead characters before battle ends, they all get the experience points.

Certain things (like quests) are just Exp pts per player ... no division. So, if you complete a quest or solve certain puzzles, everyone gets the same Exp pts for the deed, it is not divided amongst the party.
