"Umpani Wires"

Ok so I reconnect the wires in the back of the terminal. walk back around and try pass card 1, 2, 3 and the fake card. All of them bring up a message 'On second thought, you decide to use this latter.' or something to that effect. I have explored everywhere else and I cannot figure it out. I have not patched at all, and I do not remember the sequence of connecting the wires.
I really enjoy this game and this forum, I just really wanted to test out the rocket launcher.

You need to place the card exactly in the middle of the machine. Where it looks like a black square. If you place it anywhere else, it will give you the "on second thought" message.

I could be wrong ... but I think you are trying to do the same thing I did. The door you may be trying could be the under water caves door which opens a bit later AFTER you do the gunnery range. The gunnery range door auto opens after you jerry rig the wires. So the door should be open, then you do Ops training THEN the door you could be screwing with will open up.

Sorry if I'm totally off here rambling.

.. means you are trying to drop an item, rather than use it. You probably just have to get a little closer to the panel. One way to make sure you are in range is to have nothing in your hand (or up your sleeve) and mouse-over the area ... if the cursor turns into a hand, you are in range. Then grab the item and click on the spot.
