Just out of curiosity: why solo fairy ninjas? It seems like 90% of the solo players on here have a fairy ninja. It's so common most people just abbreviate it "FN". Is it that hard to solo the game without Cane of Corpus? Or do people just really like the image of Tinkerbell delivering fatal boots to the head? (-:

Well for me it was the challenge and the CofC and yes it is hard to finish the game with out the CofC I have tried it gave up half way through the game even know I was lev 32 it just got to hard when you get up to nessie and the rapax. It was realley hard trying to finish the quest that yamair gave to me to go and get the umpani in Bayjin. If you want to have a solo Ninja make it a faerie and dont put your levs up when your char goes up or it just gets too damm hard. Go and look at my questions in the topic menu people have posted some good tips. The name is LOTS OF QUESTIONS PLZ HELP go to that one unless your not going to have a faerie ninja then dont bother.

the Cane of Corpus can be found fairly early, earlier than the light sword, and speeds up the latter half of the game.
that is the main reason people choose faerie (Wizardry's spelling) ninjas. another is the +2 AC bonus for Race. +stealth = one hell of an armor class.
yes, other solos have been done, including the most difficult, a Solo Male Lizardman Bishop. imagine no 25% bonus, bare min bishop stats + High streghnth and Vitality (which is greatly needed), and very slow growth, with the high XP requirement (highest of all classes)
Faerie fighter is much easier, with the Berserk option.
faerie thieves have stealth and free backstabs

other than liz bishop, worst (hardest) are Psionic (many monsters have high resistance) and Gadgeteer (omni gun is all offensive power, and the gadgets aren't common enough)
