I'm looking for Mt. Gigas. I went into the Northern Wilderness from Arnika Road. I traversed a long bridge to the Mountain Wilderness. After crossing that and talking to Bela (ignoring Ascension Peak for the time being), I plodded onward, and now am at a road sign, with one arrow pointing toward "The Rapax Rift" and the other indicating what I believe was "THe Southern Wilderness." Am i on the right track for Mt. Gigas, or have I made a wrong turn. Is the SOuther wilderness the way to go?

To reach Mt Gigas you'll need to go through the Umpani Base Camp first. Take the NNW exit from the Northern Wilderness over the metal bridge to the UBC (vs. the east exit over the long wooden bridge to the Mtn Wilderness). Here's a map:
