I have no idea what to do here, and the clue book doesn't say.

I am directly under #3 on page 246 of the cluebook. Go into the cellar and into the last jail cell on the left. You can push some stones out of the wall, which reveals a tunnel, which takes you to the Castle main level. You reach something that looks like a ladder. The cursor becomes a hand but when I click, I get "Nothing Happens".

Please tell me what I am supposed to do here. No hints or subtlties (that's suttle-tees not subtitles). Just the plain simple answer please.

Nevermind. I figured it out. It leads to the backl of Ferro's cellar. If you are in his shop and lift the elevator without being on it, it gives you a quick-access ladder to the cellar.
