I have placed the first two items in the temples at Ascension peak but can't get into the third temple. It has some steps up to a high wall that I can't get up. Am I missing something here. I am so close to the end but so stuck.

You will want to mark this spot on you map .. it is the stairway to the cosmic circle. Where you fought the Rapax Prince, you made a right ... go back and take the other path (which would have been straight ahead).
