I killed Al-Sedexus (she wasn't really THAT good in bed anyway) and rescued the Umpani and T'Rang (I'm not sure if they were good in bed because my mage isn't talking...)

Anyway, I went back to the Rapax Castle to get to the teleport to Ascension Peak and now the doors are closed to the area I need to go. PLEASE don't tell me I screwed up and now can't get there because I'll be ever so disappointed and peeved.

Can someone offer me some mage...I mean Sage...advice?

Which doors? Which area? ... killing Al-sexy has no ramifications on closing doors (other than no more sex with her )

You talking about inside the temple? Just use your initiate's badge again.

The gates we originally went through to become Templars have, for some reason, closed (the ones where the one guy asked who sent us and the other where the guy asked if we wanted to become Templars (they lead to the dais where Al-Sedexus appears when you spill the blood on it and the Rapax mage who's for hire). There's no keyhole (that I can see) nor is there a place for the badge. For some reason they just closed.

Can you get to the area of the alter. Granted the lower door is closed but the door on which you used the Initiate's Badge should still be accessable. Go that way and you can access the teleporter to AP.

The weird thing is that BOTH gates are closed and I can't reach any of the openings with the Initiate badge. As far as I can see, short of actually having a character with Portal set there I can't make it back in.

You can't even get to the door/gate to use the initiate badge? ... That is a new one, sounds like a bug. You sure you aren't turned around? There is a similar looking door that is the exit, after becoming a templar and meeting Al-Adryian again.

When you come up the stairs, and make a left, there are two entrances - you want the second one. Go in, make a left, follow the hall all the way up and then to the right. That should take you to the initiate badge door.

Ok what you are saying is you go up the ramp in the throne room turn left then left again the gate on you right (testing area) is closed? You proceed down the hall to the next gate and that is closed also? If that is the case then you have a game glitch and should go to an earlier save game. If that is NOT the case and the second gate is open do the following. Go in the second gate,
go uo the ramps as far as you can go until you run into a closed gate in front of you. turn right move as close as you can to the little decoration on the wall, use the Initiates Badge on the decoration the dorr should open go trough the door up and then down past the alter where you had such a fun time with Al-Sexy to the door behind follow that corridor and it will lead you to the room in which you found Al-Sexus and the teleporter to AP. Hope this helps either way.

You are correct about the doors of which I speak. And yes, they were both closed tighter that....well, let's not be too graphic. <grin>

I reverted to an earlier game (4 MILLION XP earlier but...)

So........I'm back in the saddle again. And I just got to complete the game with the 'BOFFO' ending of watching the Dark Savant win.

Man I am so bummed.
