I beat W8 without ever using the zuzu petals or seeing the seventh bough. Did I miss a major part of the game here? That's the one damn thing I really wanted to do the whole time I was playing, too.

Just ask Fuzzfas about the seventh bough, he will tell you all about it ... or highlight the rest of this to see about it "7th bough is in the are pagoda, behind the blue door, teh entry across from where you encounter the oaks. Use the petals and the mystery potion - again see fuzzfas - then the shaman will appear (in a star trek sort of fashion). He puts you on the path to find martens idol and words"

If you didn't highlight the above, the end result is you are on the path to find marten's idol and words.
