Not that Y've heard of but even if you could the best you would start our at would be level 5. Now if you want tp use an editor (Llevram has an excellent one at a reasonable price and gives a free demo version for a certain amout of days) you could take you original charactors at the start of the game, edit them up to your current levels (complete with weapons and armor) and start out your massuvly overpowered ieam from the beginning.

Why would you want to start out with characters that are so strong, the game doesn't pose you any problems? Kind of takes all the fun out of it, IMNSHO.

No I've nearly finished it and want to go again looking for things I missed.

"Maximized Imports"

5 out of my 7 teams are imports and they have a hard time too, even when they start out with Mystic Spears, Elven Bows, Great Bows and Studded Hauberks. Everyone transfers with the highest quality stuff available from the Mystery Menus.

But, hey are all samurai/monk/ninja/valkyrie/lord when they transfer, so I have to downgrade 1-2 players to bishop/alchemist/psionic/bard just to get some spellpower. They usually start with 5 wiz/psi points, less than a "naturally transferred" bishop would have. But if I switch them to bishop in Wiz 7 then play them up to level 5-7, they transfer across with lower STR, PIE, etc.

They did do a very good job balancing the transfer teams with the "fresh start" teams. The game is fun (tough) no matter how you start.

My editor(s) are only for Wiz 7 and Wiz 1, not Wiz 8.
