No. But there isn't much of anything in there. If you want to check it out save before engaging Crock; kill him; check out the room; and restore to the save before engaging him. Killing him robs you of a good quest for experience points and the spellbooks as well as special items he sells. (Only place to buy a wrist rocket, for example.)
