"Venting about Wizardry 8 - Book III"

LAST EDITED ON May-28-02 AT 09:16 AM (Pacific)

(Parts I and II in the other Wiz 8 section)

The Mook are in the game just to get robbed. Weak. At least they could have put up a fight, if you chose to attack them. Npc battles in Crusaders and Bane were much tougher than in 8.

The alliance felt unfinished. The Umpani and T'rang just sit there after you unite them.

Lastly, Rodan wasn't nearly as tough as he was back on Guardia. What happened? Still, you have to love his level-up phrase, a reference to your first meeting with him in Crusaders.

I'm glad they're weak, I hate friggin monkeys anyway. There's too many running around in real life, we don't need them in fantasy games.

What about Rodan's personality change?. In the last game, Rodan would rather die than unite with the T'Rang. And what ever happened to Shritis? If Rodan gets ressurected (like Barlone) whycan't Shritis come too?

No personality change, Rodan had a grudge agaisnst Shirits be cause Shirtis killed his father. If the resurrected Shirtis the possibility of the alliance would be nil.
