I am playing the game with a solo fairy ninja and I was wondering what to do when I take Marten's idol. If I get kidnapped there will nobody to rescue me. What if I kill Crock first (he is asking for it anyway) and then get the idol? I could take along NPCs to rescue me but that isn't really going solo.If there is another solution I'd like to hear it.

Get a friend in your party like Vi. Vi will rescue you after killing that frog. Make sure you save in a different file at every stage just to make sure.
Theres no other way.

Or just kill the kidnapper, it works too.
Which I did not do because he can sell some good items.
