After I cleared out the bank of the goodies I decided that I would stash my stuff there. I went into the safe deposit area and put all the bard items (since I don't have a bard) and some of the items I'll need later on (the 250 lb. block of silver for example). I was running low on stones so I teleport back and head down the elevator, grab the rocks and teleport back to where I was.

Later on I get the need for something and go back to the bank and what do I find? When I teleported out of the bank the elevator stayed in the basement and now I can't get to it without killing the bank guards.

Does anyone know a way I might be able to get back downstairs without having to hurt anyone? (What can I say? Being Lawful Good sucks....grin)

How about going in through the prison tunnel again?

I saw this same exact type of thing last week at another Wiz8 forum (probably Ironworks). There is a call button on the wall to bring the elevator up. To walk back there, show a bank card and you have no conflict with the guards. You didn't drop the bank cards in the vault as well, did you?

Kill the teller and the guards. Then you'll be able to control the elevator yourself. The buttons are behind the teller.

When I used the bank cards in the vaults downstairs they disappeared.

And I walked over to the buttons and pushed one, then another...for the first two I get attacked by the guard and the teller. However, for the 3rd one I get the elevator to come to the top with no problems.

The guards and teller tend not to like it when you bipass their security systems. ;)

So, I was visiting Screg and Urq in Mook Headquarters or whatever they call it. Urq is upstairs, so my team goes up to talk to him. We end up teleporting out of there and forget about that part of the game for a time. We come back to Mook Headquarters, and... Where's the elevator? Oh, shoot. Wait, there's button... We push it. Our hardy band of level 20 heroes gets crushed by the friggin' elevator.

It was nearly impossible to get the elevator back down without crushing ourselves (the button is hidden around the corner, see, which kinda makes it hard to press without being directly under the elevator).

Too stupid. I guess Sir-Tech needed fools like us on their playtesting team!

With the right positioning and a quick finger on the backstep keyboard button you can bring the elevator back down without getting a hair mussed.
