"Graveyard - Need help!"

Posted by smar on May-09-02 at 12:20 PM
I've turned on 5 of the six gravestones and I've located the sixth one but I can't seem to turn #6 on (the symbol looks a little like a tomohawk).

Also, I've heard that I'm supposed to use holy water on either the skeleton or the hanging specter but I can only use holy water in combat mode and if I try to enter combat mode and use the holy water, my character says he can't do that right now.

I've got my dagger ready, I just need to know how to get that last tombstone turned on!

Help!

You need the "physical kind", in a bottle, not a magical spell. Pick it up on the cursor and click it on the spectre in the Mausoleum.

Ok, got the holy water thing. People have been saying to "use" the holy water, they should have been saying "give the holy water".

I still can't turn on the 6th tombstone though. It's the one that is just outside and down the steps from the center structure in the graveyard.

HELP!

Either you are not close enough to it (maybe turned a little to the side, looking to far down at an angle, ... sometimes hot spots can be touchy) or there is a time limit and it has passed (i.e. you touched five, left came back adn now the magic has worn off the 6th one).

I'm sure it's not a problem of trying to touch it in the right spot.

I have left and come back to the graveyard as you've suggested. What do you mean "the magic has worn off"? How do I fix this?

What I was suggesting (sounds like this is it), is that once you touch your first runestone (any of the six), then you have only certain amount of time (not like it is a race, I kow I trapsed around, tried different combinations and things) to touch all six.

If you touched five, then leave and come back later, I doubt there is a way to refresh the "magic" that has "worn off" (short of reload saved game).

It is far from being a necessary part of the game, just hit it on the next time through playing.

The rune does not turn colour when you click on it, but it does get activated...
so you can enter the dungeon anyway, it's just a little cosmetic bug.

Are you sure this rune is not already active?
I haven't noticed any time limit since I have
activated a rune, left the area for days and
returned to find it still active. I would suggest
you make sure you have found all six distinct runes,
touch them all again to make sure they are active
and use your dagger.
