i am still in the lower monastary, i just got the game yesterday....the huge spider is kickin my butt....did i miss something....should he be easy when i get to him or not?

On your party composition, how fast you got there, what items you have picked up (or maybe bought), tactics ...

He is just one of the first tough battles ... there will be many more

i have already lost 2 guys.....is there anywhere i can get a resurection potion other than for 2500 gold?

Actually, you can pick resurrection powder up for free... *spoilers follow* ... hightlight to see them. You have to reach the waterfall. There is a river under a bridge that leads to the door which requires the wheel key. Jump into the river and follow the current. This brings you to the waterfall, which you can see from the beach (starting point). Walk/jump down slowly, there is two bags of powders up for grabs.

You may lose a few hitpoints in the process... jumping down from high places is painful when you land.

because Gregor is SO stupid.

Do not stand in the middle of the door when you fight him. Stand on the right side of the door, Turn sideways (STOP LAUGHING OLD TIMERS !!!) then use keypad 0 key to slide sideways HALFWAY past the door. Gregor will run straight at you and get hung up on the edge of the door. He can't hit you but you can hit him.

Know your enemy's strengths and weaknesses.

Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em.

With my solo Faerie Ninja Gregor held me up for over an hour.

The random number generator finally went my way and I eventually critical hit him.

Just use your FN's faerie stick and he will be put to sleep
constantly. My FN dispatched gregor in no time. Unfortunately,
she has been cornered by a hoard of pestilent rats. Doh!
