In the cellar of the Rapax castle is a jail in one of the prisoners cells there is an escape tunnel that leads to a ladder. The tunnel takes you to the main area but when you click on the ladder the message nothing happens appears. Is there a purpose to this room does it lead somewhere?

It is to drive gameplayers crazy. Here you think that you tunneled into the treasure room a'la Arnika's main vault and you can't get in and then you find out to your chagtin that you are at the bottom of Ferro's elevator shaft. If you leave the elevator in the up position you'll see the ladder come out.
