There is a door in the Ratkin Tree that "needs a specific item" to open. It is NOT the Breeder door or the Serenity Helm door. I think the first door to this area is broken open & off it's hinges and it is the second door I can't open.

You mean the first one you come to when you enter the Rattkin area from Trynton? That's the door that requires the Serenity Key. You can get into the door down and around the corner from there where the Helm is actually located but the Key is need to get access to the helm.

I guess this IS the Serenity Key door. I did not realize there is more than one entrance to the room with the chest. I assumed the key would unlock the bamboo door directly in front of the chest.
