I read that your party member will not be kidnapped, if Crock is dead, so I killed him. However, when I found the idol (much later ), my party member got kidnapped anyway, or let's say is missing. Is there a way to find her again?

Assuming that the programmers never anticipated such a thing, you probably will still find the missing one upstairs at Crock's house, locked in a chest. That's where you find him/her if you kill Crock after the kidnapping.

Something went wrong then.
Normally there is no kidnapping when Crock was killed earlier.

Just like you can put items into an open chest ind not see them until you click on it again this could be the same thing.

just go back to where you hired the missing person oor go to the HLL in Arnika and file a missing persons report
