Is there any way to go north from Arnika to Mt. Gigas?

Where do we get a boat?

You can take the Arnika road to the Northern Wilderness, and enter the Umpani camp. From within you can complete some quests that will eventually get you into the Mt.Gigas caves.

No boats as far as I know.

If no boats, does that mean we cannot explore the sea?

Also, Umpani Camp is where I want to go, but the Arnika road only goes north to the Monastery. Do you have to go all the way around the sea to get there?

If I remember correctly (no map in front of me), instead of turning east toward the monastery, stay north and you will reach the Northern Wilderness. Using the map (by pressing TAB) really helps me a lot when I'm wandering around...

You gon't say if your party is imported or domestic but if you have a Bard there is a side trail on the road from the monastery that contains a very useful insterment.
