Am at the gate to Sexus bedroom, but door wont open. I have the three items on one character and am clicking with the initiates badge on the object to the right of the door but all that happens is the message "Iniiate enter" appears. The badge seems to have no effect.

Maybe you need t get a step closer. Some "hot spots" sare finicky that way.

About finicky controls of keys/cards/badges:
isn't much the same for all of them?
The keycards in the Arnika bank are a pain ('on second thought, you might want to use this item somewhere else' !?),
The well in Trynton is picky too.
As are all the keys that must be precisely placed into the tiny key holes. It feels like my party has to press their noses against the door first before they see the keyhole clearly enough

Something to improve for Wiz9 I guess. (I know Sirtech folded, but it took 8 years to get from Wiz7 to 8, mostly because of the 3D game engine. And they took the trouble to make it run on win2000 (learn from it Bradley!). So the Curries got 10years now to find funds & restart Sirtech

Enough rant for now.
