Renewal potion, killing and resurrecting him, or dunking him in some of the special fountains around Dominus -- one next to Braffit in Arnika, one in Mt. Gigas beyond the enlisted barracks deep in the mountains.

it might be possible to have your priest cure him in battle via praying. havent proven this yet, but im 99% sure it happened to me...id only go for this if youve already exhausted the fountains and dont yet have access to renewals.
