Renewal potions cure drained characters. Also, there is a fountain in NE Upper Mt. Gigas caves that will also cure drained characters.

Alchemists can also merge a Cure Disease and a Hvy heal to create a Renewal potion. (I believe Alchemy skill must be 40? Not sure...)

there are a good few fountains that cure draining i believe. i was told the arnika temple one does that...but it has very few uses.

ive honestly only been drained once, and im pretty darn sure my priest cured it by praying in battle. (it disappeared after a long time, and i didnt seem to lose any stats so....)

All draining does is remove HP. I've been drained a few times but never more than 3-4 points which even at low levels isn't all that terrible. Some people have claimed that they've had characters drained by amounts from 10-40. I can see where that would be a bit more worrisome, if that's really the case.
