This should be a simple question for someone to answer for me...how can I equip a mace or sword or something other than a dagger/main gauche/etc. on my Lord's/Ranger's off-hand?? I read a post that said it was very cool to have a Lord/Ranger swinging for mad damages with a long sword in one hand and a mace in the other but I can't equip anything else to my man's off-hand! Help me...I want to be cool, too!!

There are NO secondary swords for anything but a samurai. Axes maces and daggers is all. Remember the skill Dual Weapons is needed if you are going to be a two handed fighter.

there is another off-hand weapon that i can think of, that's pretty powerful....

But that's just the thing...I cannot equip my dual fighting Lord with a mace in his off-hand. Thoughts?

There is only one off-hand mace, the one your thinking of is called Diamond Eyes (7-22 i think) and can be found in a mountain wilderness cave (not the one behind the waterfall or the one with the monks). Another can be PP off the trynie shaman.

It may have been primary/secondary in Wiz 7 but its primary only in Wiz 8.

actually, yes, My fighter has a War Hammer as primary, and a War Scepter as secondary (I double checked it)
Stats:
non-faerie Fighter/Lord/Valkyrie/Priest/Bishop
damage: 3-8
equippable slots: Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon
Special attacks: K.O. 5%
Skill: Mace & Flail
Range: Short
