"Dark Savant dropped an item???"

LAST EDITED ON Apr-04-02 AT 06:58 PM (Pacific)****Big spoiler****
Okay, so I just killed the Dark Savant... but he dropped some sort of glove/gauntlet. I was not able to pick it up however, as the game immediately went through with the ending.
Has this happened to anyone else? Why would they program the DS to randomly drop stuff, if you never have a chance to get it...? Hmmmmmmm....

What the Dark Savant drops is the DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE GANE darantee from Sir-Tech. Naturally they can't afford to have anyone pick it up as it would put them out of business (oops too late
just kissing
)

Try typing in a few words that pertain to your subject/question. In this instance, you might try:
savant gloveIt will return a number of posts, including this one (http://www.softwarespecialties.com/dcforum/DCForumID19/1260.html) entitled, of all things, SAVANTS GLOVE
p.s. It only took me about 5 tries to find it

It is obviously the Savant's patented Cobaltine Power Glove (TM).
But, of course, Cosmic Lords have no use for such contraptions.

Mmhm.. and the post doesn't say what the glove is, just repeats my question
"Which question?"

1. Yes it has happened to others.2. "Why drop it if you can't get it?" - Apparently you can get it, but doig so leaves you in limbo, unable to finish the game. Perhaps that is the design .... if you are "too greedy" and want this trinket at the brink of becoming a cosmic lord, maybe you are not ready

The power-glove's stats would be very appreciated. Good for nothing as they may be, at least we could add it to our "want to have"-list.
