In the Rift:
Down the hallway that leads to the statue of Al-Sedexus, there are two frog heads with their mouths open. When you touch their mouths, they pop open wider for a second and then slowly go back to normal.

Is this just scenery, or is there something to do there?

In Trynton:
You can take an elevator and a climbing rope/ladder from the 4th(??) bough to a ledge that has a broken rope hanging off it. When you touch the rope, it says: Nothing happens. There is absolutely nothing else to do in this area rendering the elevator and rope/ladder useless to the game.

Was this an attempt to make us feel like mice in a maze or is there something to do there?

Rapax Rift frogs heads Ibelieve there is a trap there if you don't disarm it something happens don't know exactly what.

Tryntom elecator from Rattkin Tree probably shows that Ratts always keep a back door open in case of trouble.

Frogs = disarmed trap? That makes sense. I'm pretty sure I disarmed something there before going in. I believe it was spoon-fed to us, which is why I don't really remember. ("It would be a really really good idea to press this button and disarm potential danger ahead..." Hmmm...I think I'll press this button.)

As for Rattikin tree, those guys could have been the coolest if they had just a little more development.

Does anyone know if putting a hit on someone actually works? I know the Don says he'll take care of the DS, but does he ever go to Ascension Peak? I killed him for the CofC so I wouldn't know...

Thx again, Avatar

Frogs: *shrug*
Rope: If you can see the ground (the actual ground outside the tree) click on the REEL that the rope is on. It's not broken, its a back door and you can use it so you don't need to go back up through the stupid tree.

Frogs: don't disarm trap, doors fall down to bar room off and it fills with lava from the frogs mouths. Re-load time.

Actually, you dun have to... lava spills out, you have a bit of time to climb up a step, just in front of the bars, cast return to portal...

of course, reloading makes more sense. :0)

If you use return to portal I heard that it is impossible to make it back through there as the trap stays sprung even after you disarm it. It happened to a guy awhile ago, he was quite irate, as he spent 9 game days looking for a way around.
