"Rapax came to my aid at Ascenion"

Okay, so this is not as ohmigod as you'd think, but...

I was fighting the big Rapax battle on Ascension peak. I had about 20 Templars/Archers left to pick off, and then they all suddenly turned to green dots and the battle was over.

No, they were not turncoated, and my rating with the Rapax (Common and Templar) still said hostile... but they remained green dots on my map. Camping did not wear out this effect, and they continued helping me fight other battles nearby.

So, the T'rang said they would help... the Umpani said they would help... the Rapax said they'd kill me... and now look who's running around Ascension Peak with a personal troupe of 20 virile Rapax?

Probably just some weird glitch... I had killed the Prince and demoness and was picking off the Rapax for a while, when they suddenly switched sides. Some Tri-gazers had accidentally been in the battle since the beginning, maybe that messed things up...

Actual, did you kill the Rappax King at the away camp and leave the Queen alive?

When I met her she said that he locked her in the cave and was upset with the whole Dark Savant alliance.

Thus as soon as you kill the Rappax Prince, they turn.

Best thing to do in this battle is kill Al-Dain (something like that) and then the prince. Most if not all will turn onto your side and bother you no more.

The name of this character is based on which party member you sacrificed. It only took my 3 times through the game before I realized that Al-Thissenna was not named that by coincedence, but because my party member that did the demon thing was Thissenna

I wonder what happens if you go through the game w/o doing the templar initiation? I guess the prince is just on his own.
