How do you kill the Greater Demon and Three Djinni of the Clouds? They cast "eye for an eye" as soon as they see me and I end up killing myself !!! What works against them ? (Most of my party are level 20-21)

I believe that I just cast banish on them, if I was casting anything. Then you don't have to worry about i4i, as banish does nothing against you.

That's the way to do it! Rush towards them using the tactic of surprise attacking when they're not in sight, then running towards them so that you're in melee range when the "real" combat starts. With a bit of luck (critical hits!) one or two djinns are down before they even realize they're being attacked. And Soul+Element shield are a must in this fight!

IMO this is one of the Top3 of the hardest fights in Wiz8!!! Only the sorceress took me more tries to win without losing a character! Maybe lvl. 21 is too low for the djinns!

I thought it was always safe, and the only safe spell against thes foes. Unfortunately, I had summoned some poor elements, so when the eye for eye recoiled, it hit them. I was kind of amazed that happened, but when I thought about it, it made sense

I killed them all !!!! Running in and just hitting away did the trick. Thanks to all.
