My third game from the beginning. Decide to max every statistic and find some items via reloading (light sword). Aha, pickpocketing. So I visited Tramain. Started pickpocketing. After every sucessful pp, exited conversation, just to make sure the pp skill got up. Quicksave. PP again. And so on, till the message "nothing left to steal" apperaed. Just out of curiosity,I loaded the last quicksave and tried pp again. Well surprise, there were more items, and they started to be better. So, after every message "nothing left to steal", I just loaded the last save and continued pp. I will do that for a long time I think. Just want to mention some "good" items the old man "gave" me. -Enchanted broadsword, Ankh of Speed, Ankh of Dexterity, Raven Bill, Wand of Static, Resurrection Powder, Aqua Ring, Plate Mail(U), Ring Pro Magic...

The stuff doesn´t change, just keep pp'ing even if he says "nothing left". When that message is all you got after about 10 tries, he's empty for sure.

Yeah, you are right. I have discovered that meanwhile. Less reloading, only when they catch me. But, its still amazing how much stuff they have and some is really good. Antoan gave me mantis boots and gloves wich I bought first at Ferro in the last game. Well, its fun. Now that I have PP Don Barlone, there is the C.O.C. My faeri mage will become a ninja later on in the game.

Btw try stealing sword of 4 winds from sgt. balbrak at umpani base ;) . THAT's pretty hard, my pp is 112 and I am not able to steal it. Damn fine sword. Kill him and see the sword first ;D

I have stolen that sword,.. found another one in the forbidden area in Mt.Gigas. My pp skill was about 95. Only, its a cursed sword, so I cant swap with ranged weapons. Well, its a matter of taste. The Umpani bartender had some "sword of heart", something like that. Nothing special, but i like it. Sgt. Balbrak and Kunnar had a blunderbuss.
