Posted by Nibbler (Guest) on Mar-22-02 at 01:15 AM
Anna (Arnika, marina store) told me she got a gun against the troopers... the "stun gun" from the T'Rang!

I've completed every mission Z'ant send me to (except the last) but I've never gained a "stun gun" and asking Z'ant about "stun gun" or or ehm... his shopkeeper I've never got a usefull answer...

so: WHERE is this "stun gun" or how do i get it?

Or is the "stun gun" same as the "stun rod"???? (polearm)

Thanks for comming

It's an item that should only be available by import from Wiz 7, though I've heard some people claim they've gotten one as part of the chest drop in Bayjin. In Wiz 7, that item was good only against savant androids and then only in a specific situation. In 8, it appears to have been upgraded to a non-ammo-using energy weapon that is useful against other things than androids.

Most of this information is based on posts I've read and not actual experience myself. Though I have done two imported parties from 7, I didn't have that ray at the endgame so it didn't import for me.

I imported it with one team. It builds Modern Weapon skill and does around 10 points damage. Nice but not overwhelming and no ammo problems.

It sucks stamina from ordinary characters, so you need to hand it to one that replenishes that resource constantly, like a Lord.

Picked up the stun gun once, and is great for building range and modern weapon skill without having to carry a few stacks of musketballs around.Baygin sounds like the right place but it doesnt appear every time.
