FIRST PATH is to play with TLANG side, and SECOND PATH is with UMPANI side.
THIRD PATH is both side,and makes new alliance of TLANG and UMPANI. Before the last mission of destruction ship of Tlang or Umpani, You must go to Rapax away camp,and kill all Rapax then rescue DRAZIC the TLANG and RODAN the UMPANI. You recruit both DRAZIC and RODAN,and then go to ZANT,next go to Yamir. And there You get new mission of destruction of Dark Savant ship. If you play three times, this path is recommended.

Don't align with either and kill them all (not a very "role-playing" path ... recommended for the 10th time through).

How do you get the CM if you align with neither? AFTER you get the CM, slaughter EVERYONE. Mook, Umpani, T'rang, Trynnie, Ratkin, that bitch in the bank... especially that bitch in the bank.

I assume that either Z'Ant or Brabak (?) drops it when you kill him / it. AFAIK that's always the case with important items.
