Hi all,

I've seen other references to this problem, but no solution that works.

I am a double agent,
I payed off He'Li,
I turned in Kunar,
I have a friendly rating with Umpani.

When I bring in Glumph I get the XP and the new mission, and whe I leave Yamir and his boys attack me.
I have already read all the posts on this and the tech forum at Sir-tech relating to the problem. New input would be gratefully received!

Has anyone with this problem run away from Yamir and patched up the situation??

Load Glumph down and run around until he's unconscious and then RUN to Yamir with him still out cold. He'll have his conversation with Yamir even though he's out and then he'll leave you. Once you leave the conversation screen, RUN away from Yamir until you are out of the HQ area and you should be fine.

It helps if you have X-ray on so you can see when his little red dot disappears, at which point you are no longer in danger.

In case you don't know, you can run by pressing the SHIFT key while using whatever method you use to advance.

Hey! That got me out of it. So it was Glumph who was hostile towards me...and after I paraded him all over Dominus! Hope I get a chance to slip a light sword between his ribs later on in the game...

Well, if you paraded him all over Dominus, it is no wonder he was hostile -- he wanted to get back to make his report to the general.

FWIW, it's my understanding that if you take Glumph anywhere but on a direct route back to Gigas (i.e through the Shallows to the Water Caves to Mt. Gigas), he gets mad at you. I could be wrong but that has been my understanding from posts I've read elsewhere.

And no, that's the last time you'll see Glumph throughout the game unfortunately.

I took him back via the route: Crocks, Arnika, Mt. Gigas. Had no problem except he bellowed when we went to Crocks. Finished the quest with no problems.

It was unavoidable. I went thru Bayin via the swamp, so I didn't have a quick way back to Mt Gigas(I found him before I ever finished the 3rd mission). Then I stopped by Trynton and Arnika since they were on the way to Mt Gigas. He was whining and bitching the whole time.

That rat bastard...

I teleported him directly to Mt. Gigas and had no problem with the General afterwards.
