"Where's the Fang?"

I'm on my second way though the game and though I've heard about it on the boards all the time, I never did find the Fang. Where is it, and what type of weapon is it? Thanks.

As for its location in Wiz8, I can't help but as for "what is it", I can.

Fang is a sword. Specs: 2d8+8 damage, min/max damage: 10/24, Race: All, Profession: Fighter, Valk, Lord. Special Specs: STR +1

I "think" that there were some magical components as well but I can't find my list for those. Basically it's a descent sword but I'm sure you can find something better. Hope this helps.

Hagaar.

Try the sorceress' temple, down where the mummies hang out. I am sure they have one they will part with (after a bit of melee negotiations ).

yep, the sorceress temple. You'll also find the boomerang shuriken, and some other goodies as well. You'll have to fight the mummies for sure, but there is a way around the sorceress queen if you figure it out. At least I got around them anyways while my brother was looking on, staring in disbelief.

it's a three + step process. Cast Cameoleon first just to be safe. Initiate combat just at the edge of the big room, but make sure you cant see any of the creatures. Move your party behind one of the pillars, the left one if you want to get Fang. Stop behind the pillar when the creatures cant see you. Then immediately initate combat again, stopping on the stairs. Go up the stairs for some goodies, come down to the base of the stairs making sure they cant see you all the while. Initiate combat again, head imediately for the side hall. Then run down to fight the mummies, grab fang and other stuff. Do the same thing to get back out of there, or portal out if you can cast that.

Took me some reloading to do it, but I did manage to get it. Diamond Eyes can be retreaved from the Deathlord and Gibbering Heads in a similar manner. Remember, you can grab stuff in the middle of a move during initiated combat.
