Big Problem, earlier in the game I pissed off the Trang. Now when I try to form an alliance with the Trang and the Umpani I get attacked by the Trang. I can't make them friendly. they won't even talk to me. Now I can't dismiss my 2 extra party members. What can I do?

I was in the same boat - it is easiest to get to water, equip everyone but them with air breathers adn take a swim.
