My sticky fingered Rogue is my favorite character (especially when stocking up at merchant's expense), so I haven't done the patch that "fixes" him. How does this patch affect him exactly (I've gotten the impression that the merchant gets hostile even if the pp was successful?)
What else does this patch fix (I know I can't go up to Acension Peak, but are there other areas?)
Once the patch is installed to finish my current game, could I start a new game sans patch by reinstalling the game itself?
Mainly, I want to put off the patch as long as possible. Pickpocketing and shoplifting are too much fun!
