Just wondering... is there any reason to have male characters in this game, aside from a greater variety of voices? There're tons of female only items, but I haven't found any for males. Also, as I understand it, if you don't have any men, Al-Sex will swing the other way...

So, what good are the guys?

I don't see any real reason to use either, other than a good mix for variety.

I'll try to keep this one from heading downhill.

The gender of your character doesn't figure into the game, except that females can become valkyries and there seem to be more female only items in the game.

Too bad they didn't make the lord male only to compensate.

There is one really nice male only item, the cameo locket. I think it is 4ac 1hp regen and 15 vitality.

the chieftan's scepter is male only, but I don't think it qualifies as a premium item

the Cameo Locket is a pretty good item, but the Diamond Ring beats the snot out of it
