I cannot find the key to open the door to get the helm of serenity. I did not realize that I would need any of this stuff. I am already at Marten's ghost and have back tracked to get this. Any idea how to open the locked door without the key?

Do you mean the door on the lower level or the upper one? The lower one opens outwards after you get the helm, while the top one, I believe, requires a key from the Trynnie shaman, who is behind a door with a 2 or 3 layer pedestal that requires a specific item.
The rest is easy.

I need to open the door with the specific item which I believe is the key from the shaman. I have no idea what I did with it. I will check to see if I can open the lower door. I have seen the shaman and when I go see him again I cannot talk to him.
