Am I more or lessed kerfuffled if I don't have the spiked boots? I couldn't figure out what the plank was for or the boots the 1st time I was in that area. I have gone back and have the plank but do not have the boots, I am pretty sure I sold them somewhere or other. Is there a way to do this plank manuever without the boots or do I have to traverse the lands looking for the person I sold the boots to?

Some people have said they ave made it across the slippery plank without the spiked boots, after like 100 tries.

I made it across the first time, no boots. Have the plank in hand and use it on the gap (try about 4 or 5 times, quickly) and the plank went into the gap. I fell down, I think, then I made my way back up and took it at a run. You need to aim properly and you should be able to make it up the other side. Get the boots next game. It makes things much easier.

Thanks! I got the plank across the 1st time and fell down, was going to head back and try again but decided to try and find the boots instead, have checked a few of the merchants and no go so far so i will try just one more then head back and try your method.

I just casted portal on the one side before you cross, try to place the plank and cross at the sametime, if u do fall, just transfer back to your portal.

Are you sure you sold them boots?

I equipped them on my Fairie Mage. Pretty handy.

I'm not sure it works, but I was fighting in that area and I ran to where I think the plank would go. When my 'run time' ran out, I stopped dead. Even on the green stuff. False Combat anyone?
