the doors to the Ascension peak teleporter in the Rapax castle are closed, and the 2 Rapax that open them are missing. Is there another way to get to that teleporter? Or another way to Ascension Peak?

I think you are at the wrong teleporter. The Peak teleporter is in the final room where you completed your Templar initiation. The other teleporter in the Queen's room needs a missing rod to work and it will take you to Arnika.
