I have drazic and the umpani in my party but when I talk to z'ant he doesn't even act like drazic is there. what do you do after you get these two in the party to "make peace"?

If you do all the quests up to the point where you get to see the general, then take rodan to talk to him, he will give you an alliance letter to take to Zant.

I am not sure if the same works starting with Zant.

It should work when starting with Z'Ant; I know it 'cause I've done it twice already. I always portal to Arnika, use the T'Rang teleporter, do the Z'Ant part, use the teleporter to get to the Umpani Camp, go to see Yamir, shoot down the ship, see Yamir again and bingo! It's just the shortest path. Unfortunately, I can't help you, zaius, other than telling you that Llevram's advice sounds good.

I go and talk to zant and he goes off on a rant about how I'm a big traitor and how he wants to kill me. even with drazic in the party. haven't tried it with yamir first though.

Are you highlighting Drazic, then kissing (clicking the lips on) Zant? Or maybe you can bribe him (with money or high ticket items).

Gig you pay off He'li she could ratted you out in which case you had better.

1. Kill or denounce the T'rang spy amoung the Umpani
2. See the general and let Rodin do the talking.
3. Go to Z'ant with acceptance letter and have Drazic give it to him out of conversayion mode.

This should work unless you completed the final Umpani quest.
